On August 27, 2009, Minister Clement announced that the 2010 Ontario Youth Winter Games to be hosted in Muskoka in March 2010 will benefit from $200,000 in funding from the federal Community Adjustment Fund.

NIPISSING UNIVERSITY RECEIVES $5.1 MILLION FOR STUDENT ACCOMMODATION
Earlier this week the Town of Bracebridge and Nipissing University learned of their successful grant application under the Community Adjustment Fund/FEDNOR/Industry Canada. This will allow Nipissing to create a student residence to support the new campus building that was opened in 2008 in Bracebridge. Additionally the Nipissing is working on design elements that will allow the housing to be used for events and conferences, researchers and summer worker housing.
